Dress Code

As you know, it’s HOT in the summer. Shorts are definitely encouraged, but please be aware of the length. Campers may not wear spaghetti straps, halter tops, or strapless shirts. Per Plains Baptist Assembly rules, girls must wear a one-piece swimsuit. If you bring a two-piece (a tankini is a two-piece), you must wear a shirt over it while you are swimming (moms included). Everyone must wear a shirt/cover-up to and from the swimming pool.

If I go as a volunteer, what do I have to do?

BE FLEXIBLE - Please be prepared to help out in various different situations—games, activities, worship times, discussion groups, home-sick kids, etc. You may be called on for some crazy things. It will not be the most restful week of the summer for you, but the blessings you will receive will far outweigh the challenges.

Throughout our time at Base Camp, pictures will be posted on the ‘Southwest Children’s Ministry’ Facebook page. You must ‘like’ this page to be able to see the pictures. We will tag parents in their pictures of their kids.
